If you have a high mattress, or a California King then standard bedding doesn’t fit and you will be tugging covers all night to get comfortable. Custom also means having an endless choice of fabrics. If custom isn’t in the budget, we also have a large variety of ready-made bedspread ensembles from which to choose.

Cassy will come to your home and help you choose from the endless variety of fabrics and bedding styles that will make any bedroom in your home a special, unique haven. There are many styles on the market today, so don’t settle on just any store-bought bedding. Get the bedspread, duvet or comforter that fits right and works best for you. We can also help you add coordinated draperies, furniture and accessories to complete the design.

Integrated Furniture

With a variety of styles and thousands of fabrics to choose from, adding a custom furniture piece adds another level of luxury to a bedroom. We can make these custom pieces for your master suite or guest bedroom:

As part of a bedroom design, enjoy a custom headboard upholstered in your choice of fabric. Cassy will also help you add coordinated custom window treatments, furniture and accessories to complete the design.

Kid's Rooms

We love the challenge of working with children’s bedrooms because, instead of just being a room for sleep, it needs to encompass several tasks and becomes a space for living too.

Designing for girls is not a task, but rather an enjoyable journey while we discover the needs of the individual girl. Our imaginations enjoy being stretched! Designing for boys comes with its own challenges. While you may want to forgo the neon walls and superhero bedding, the occupant of the room might have other ideas!

With children’s spaces we also take into account how the room can grow as the child matures. The nursery shown here is a good example of a gender neutral nursery.

Meet Cassy

Cassy Young of the Young Design Group is an award-winning interior decorator, backed by the Decorating Den Interiors franchise. Her interior decorating expertise has helped many people in the Athens region to achieve functional and luxurious spaces, from a single room to a complete home.

On completion of her interior design degree Cassy began her career as a qualified interior designer.  Since then, she has been the recipient of multiple design awards.

A visit to our studio is an exciting excursion as you look at and feel the hundreds of fabric choices. The studio has several rooms where you can see the quality of living room, dining room, office, and bedroom furniture. As they are fully decorated you can also see custom draperies and bedding, rugs, lighting and accessories.
