A Small Space Becomes a Home Office

Project Overview:

Cassy Young,  from Young Design Group, noticed this dark corner next to the main stairs while she was at the client’s home to discuss their living room. In fact, she realized that this area was really part of that living room so concentrated on including the space into the whole.

She painted the walls, added lighting and covered the dull tile with a light rug to complement the walls. A solid, quality scrolled-leg desk take pride of place. The low dresser keeps the space open to the eye but provides the storage an office needs and a great place to hide a printer. As usual, Cassy has introduced texture with the waste basket, accessories and artwork. The contrast of the blue accessory draws the eye and adds a great finishing touch.
