Luxury Master Bedroom

A new home provided an opportunity to create a luxurious master bedroom in this luxury Athens home. The drab and dated colors, old ceiling fan, and stained carpet needed to be updated with new colors, luxury finishes and fabulous custom bedding.

Project Overview:

Painting the walls and trim along with replacing the carpet in a contemporary pattern started the update. The gray glass lingerie chest with gold hardware in the corner was the color inspiration for this room. The interior designer added a gray and gold painted poster bed dressed in rich washed velvet, linen and ribbon trim details. She paired this with a collection of various finishes in the nightstands, bench and chest in the room. Lamps and mirror in gold bring some glamour to the room. A new chandelier in distressed gray with wood beads replaced the ceiling fan. Drapery side panels in a shimmery linen highlighted with gray and gold trim, frame the windows beautifully on simple metal rods with rings. Cushioned chairs and an ottoman, tucked into the niche by a window, offers a quiet respite for the homeowners in this luxury master bedroom.
