Project Overview:

This large porch was showing signs of wear and tear when new owners decided to put their stamp on the space. The stain finish on built in cabinets was fading and the wood was cracking. The vista from the porch is what prompted the clients to purchase this home, with a lake and golf course view.

The cabinets were refinished with a durable painted finish. Two zones were established: one for enjoying the fire and watching sports on a TV in the built in cabinets near the fireplace. Comfortable, generous seating was put in place with upgraded cushions. The second cooking/dining zone has a large weathered finish teak table has room for family and guests to enjoy the view while visiting with the chef at the built in grill with vent hood. Boxwood topiary and baskets fill in the large space while leaving room for family and guests to move around.
